Heat pumps designed for your home
Heat pumps work well, but only when they are designed properly. We carry out a full heat-loss calculation for every job, room by room, before we recommend a unit size or a configuration. The design step is what separates a heat pump that runs at 350 to 400 percent efficiency from one that struggles every winter, and we will not skip it.
Most Somerset homes we look at are good candidates for an air-source heat pump, especially when paired with the Boiler Upgrade Scheme £7,500 government grant. We administer the grant on your behalf, including the MCS certificates and the EPC checks, so the paperwork is not a barrier.
Where the existing radiators or pipework need upgrading to suit a lower flow temperature, we plan that into the quote upfront. No mid-job surprises, no calls back to ask for more money, and a clear written design before any work starts on site.
We integrate heat pumps with hot-water cylinders, smart controls, and existing solar systems where it makes sense. The result is a heating system that is cheaper to run than a gas combi for most homes, and a system designed by the same team that will service it for the next decade.
